New Bold Site - Same Great Breaking

Welcome to the new Break My Game website! We wanted to bring in an updated website that was better suited to the changing needs of our community. Moving from in-person events to an online platform was our challenge in 2020, and in 2021 we hope to be able to better serve the growing global community!

If you are new to the site, I suggest joining our Discord server. This is where we host all online events and our community discussions.

Next, check out our events calendar! This has a listing of all of our currently planned public events and playtests! Click on any event for the option to import it to your own personal calendar so you never miss out on the fun!

If you want another way to stay in the know with the latest events, join our mailing list for monthly event news.

Feel free to Contact Us if you have questions regarding Break My Game, feedback or suggestions. We are happy to help answer any questions, and we actively use community suggestions to help drive our next projects and events! Or maybe you are interested in becoming a host for one of our virtual weekly playtests? We are on the lookout for reliable members who can host on different days and times.

Another brand new feature to keep an eye on is our developing Community Corner! Here you can connect with the BMG Champions about a variety of topics. Everything from game design, to workflow tips, and even software tutorials! We also plan on shining a spotlight on the community itself with segments such as designer spotlights and more!

We will continue to strive to bring you a community platform that is sure to grow and bring exciting new ways to interact with each other and teach as many people as we can about game design. The majority of the content and services we provide to the community are free of charge and are available to all who wish to participate. In order to help us with that mission, please consider making a donation to our cause. The free events BMG runs for the game design community throughout the year are also community-run, and take many hours to plan, and organize. Any dollar value you can donate will go towards making sure Break My Game can continue to provide free community events. We thank you for your support!

We want to thank you for being a part of the Break My Game community. It’s you who have helped us grow and make this community a success.
