In 2015, Danni began growing the BMG community and helping designers. Their passion for helping others and desire to bolster diversity in the board game industry are driving factors for the company's direction.

Joseph is a game designer and self-publisher who has a passion for playing and designing games that started at a young age and has only grown stronger since. Joseph assists the BMG team with web and graphic design, marketing, event organizing, and discord moderating. Besides playing board games, he also loves gardening, videography, 3D printing, and other home DIY projects.

Connor Shearwood is a software developer and game designer from the United Kingdom who joined the BMG mod team in 2020. They build scale models, makes games and has an unhealthy obsession with space.

Zach has been designing board ganes since 2013. His hobbies include making board games, playing board games, MTG, video games, and watching anime. He loves helping designers and chatting about games

Brett is a musician, writer, and game designer who derives way too much joy from making spreadsheets. His early fascination for strategy games - starting a Lines of Action strategy blog and designing maps for an online Risk knock-off - led him to board game design and this community of designers, artists, and publishers helping each other fulfill their visions. Brett hopes to apply his experience as a Director of Marketing to bolster Break My Game’s public profile and continue growing the community.

Jamie has been in love with games for their entire life, and has been designing games almost as long. They started their professional journey into the board game industry in 2016, to finally get their ideas out into the world and champion the causes they care about - making board games that create a sense of community around them, and making the gaming community as a whole feel welcoming to people of all kinds. They're thrilled to now be a part of the Break My Game team, and help others who feel like "others" find solace and community in the board game creator space!

Jake is a game designer, artist, and educator who thinks the only thing more fun than playing games is making them! 
BMG helped him get his first game signed and, as a live event host in Philadelphia, he wants to help others realize their game design goals! With all his work Jake wants to make things that help people have fun, think, and grow.

Chris is an indie game designer who started making games and attending BMG events in 2018. As a mod on the BMG Discord, he helps keep the BMG community welcoming and engaging. Outside of the hobby, Chris enjoys life as a dad and engineer.

Matthew Hocker

Matthew is a game designer and publisher that holds a love for silly stocking caps and hanging with his sleepy greyhound. Having experienced the journey of bringing a game from concept to reality, Matthew deeply respects what BMG does for the tabletop community and wants to continue and encourage its work toward fostering inclusive and empowering playtesting communities.

Xoe is an eccentric game designer and boardgame tech support. It joined Break My Game to guide others towards accessible playtesting platforms, help host playtest events, and screech obnoxiously about the oppression of metrics.

Lonnie Morgan

Lonnie is a long-time tabletop gamer, but new to the scene as a designer. He lives in Columbus, Ohio, USA and specializes in the data analytics field for his day job. Lonnie is excited to bring his skills & life experiences to the BMG team as a board member and help the org to grow further in its mission. When not crunching data or designing games, you can find Lonnie buried in a sci-fi novel or working in his vegetable garden.

Joshua Adams

Josh is a game designer from the Philadelphia area. When he was young, he made simple board games out of leftover cardboard. Now, he makes slightly less simple board games out of leftover cardboard. (And sometimes virtual cardboard!) He's been hosting online events with BMG since 2022, and he enjoys the opportunity to collaborate with other designers and grow alongside the rest of the community.

Joe lives with their partner, baby, and cat in Minnesota and is currently busy pondering some small or major change to one of their many unpublished games. As a moderator, they are here to help you! Joe has a M.S. in mathematics and could be convinced to help calculate the probability of something.

Jeff has been designing games his whole life, but he only recently started taking it seriously after realizing that regular people can indeed get their board games published. The BMG community has been essential for that journey, and he wants to help others make that same leap. Jeff lives with his wife, kids and cats near Chicago.

Edward Damon

Edward (Ned) Damon’s analog game journey started with making a tabletop RPG system in high school (it was terrible) and continues through today. BMG has been an amazing environment to help hone all parts of the board game design journey, and he hopes to give back to this amazing, supportive community. He’s been involved with the BMG community for several years, and helps to host the Portland, OR Break My Game in-person event. Outside of board games, Ned enjoys hiking, gardening, and volunteering with the Scouts and PTA.

Eric is a graphic designer, web designer, and aspiring board game designer residing in Philadelphia, PA. He’s been playing board games his whole life, and started creating them as teenager. He and his wife have just bought a house because their board game collection has outgrown their apartment. Aside from board games, Eric enjoys playing pickleball and juggling.
